Just curious: why is this a copy of fanuc_experimental, and why is it called fanuc_experimental-release? #1

The official fanuc_experimental repository will never be released, but we do have release repositories in ros-industrial.

The naming of this repository is a bit confusing to say the least.

Additionally: why create a disconnected clone of fanuc_experimental?

Hi @gavanderhoorn , We have a larger project which uses fanuc_experimental as a submodule.

Initially we decided to release the project but later my company changed the idea. we created -release repository for the project and also created -release repositories for all its submodules. The project however is in private mode now, But some of the submodules such as fanuc_experimental-release is public.

I was actually not aware this repo is disconnected from the official repo. There is no a specific reason that it is disconnected.

I can make changes on parts that you find confusing or source of concern.
