I really like how this reading talks about different ways that the computer codes. Since I have been taking cs classes for a while I think manipulating text to do different things is very interesting to me, since thats what humanizes coding. Such as the print command, since it is executing the command it is taking a word everyone knows and manipulating other words to achieve this effect.
I think that spaces in coding being optional is very strange. I think most programs like to have some sort of readability, and the fact that spaces are obsolete confuses me. I think it allows certain groups of people to section off and build their own language that not all people can understand. Then again, readability is great but if everyone could understand it would it still be interesting?
