Somehow (very very strange)... the code for the enemy movement was being stored in the enemy.tscn file rather than the enemy.gd file. I have extracted it and moved it to the appropriate places - however, the enemy is now spawning at its knees.
I know this has happened before so hoping the person who fixed previously can have a look.
