App needs to be compatible with android and apple products(The first version may not be available for apple devices, since it can take weeks to months to get through the Apple app store approval. I am not sure if we can bypass this step and will look into it more.)
*App needs to work offline and then autosync when network (mobile data) is available
Needs to be use-able on a small screen, like a phone, but also on a tablet.
Needs to allow the user to authenticate. (i.e. Login once, so we can make sure that the user is authorized, and we know who he/she is.)
The app needs to allow users to enter hole depth for a grid of holes
The app needs to allow users to enter fuel log information on the summary page
The app needs to allow users to enter the job information at the top of each page of the drill log.
The user needs to be able to return to and edit the most recent grid
The app needs to allow for signature capture both supervisor and customer on summary page of the drill log
Needs to include a Server
Needs to be accessible anywhere on the internet.(It will not be available "offline")
Needs to have the administrators login.
Needs to organize into project files for each project we are working on
Needs to display a list of drill logs. within the project file for each job
For the list of drill logs within a project, I assume that later we will be adding other documentation to the project, but for now that will be the only thing within a project?
Needs to display the drill grid
Needs to have all data viewable. (future versions could be editable if that is desirable.)
Needs to perform calculations. (please provide an example of each calculations)
Calculations are on the summary page of the drill log provided - I will want to make a change in one of the formulas so instead of using an average depth we are figuring cubic yards per hole then adding them together. Not sure what that looks like I will need help with the formula. there are a couple of formulas we need to add to the sheet so it automatically calculates they have comment boxes by them.
The maximum grid size will be?
Often times we are submitting the drill log with our billing to the customer. The way the grid size is set up on the drill log provided is to be able to present a hard copy that looks good to the customer on a 81/2 x11 sheet of paper. the grid with the summary page and 6 pages wide with 7 pages below will always allow for enough space.
.
Does the app need to perform calculations or just the server?
To avoid yardage disputes with our customers - I need Our supervisor and the customers foreman to measure holes and verify whats on the drill log so the calculations would be great on the app so both parties can see the detail before signing. The idea is to have them sign on a tablet or phone while standing on the site.
