This requires some repository hook and and some code that interacts with the GitHub API. Not part of this development effort, although probably worth while as an independent or side effort. If someone figures out how to do this, we'll probably use it, but not something we are going to spend our time on here.
Managing the project development manually via a ROADMAP file is very similar to using the project Kanban board, except instead of columns we have sections. This is something that could easily be generated from the project at release time to indicate status of outstanding issues as data (model) rather than interactive web page (view).
