Website text is unreadably thin/light on *ubuntus #148

When viewing the website on multiple ubuntu-based or ubuntu-like linux distros, the font on the website is thin and light-colored to the point of hurting my eyes. screenshot

It appears the font-weight property in the CSS rules for the body tag is causing the face to change to Roboto Thin. Simply removing the font-weight property from the stylesheet makes it look decent to my eyes.
