I found out it's related to force feedback when the game is 64 bits. If you can run games in 32 bit (like assetto Corsa), everything works fine. If the game is 64 bit-only, turning off FF in options will let you play, but w/o FF obviously. And newer strictly 64 bit games auto-detect FF at load so these crash. Anyone found a way to fix the driver for FF in 64 bit games?
I love this initiative, I'm on win 11, 64 bit. The wheel does not center making the experience so-so. wrc8 - no wheel centering Forza 5 - crashes on start :(
@neko-nya @jeffintheusa @Trader08 when you do 32bits, does ff work. And btw, whats the correct term for wheel centering? @jeffintheusa any hint on where to look? will a diff 32/64 bits files help at all?
@Trader08 you seem to have been looking in to this fairly recently https://www.lfs.net/forum/post/1951570#post1951570 please elaborate on the registry thingy
Games hangs or crashed when wheel is connected. Tested with Assetto Corsa (wheel works correctly in the settings menu but race doesn't start) and Euro Truck Simulator 2 (game crashes immediately when wheel is choosing as main controller). Windows 10. Drivers have been installed correctly. All games working well when wheel is disconnected.
