A recent series of commits (311d2f2c1e97413f99eac79f39f5d06ab27d3601, f712b63cb27b3a8681d3dd35545a33a9d76c87c1, d48d27576edd1ab1466d5e70ef4138b9b8f57b57, 5c55f5da9297694376caf72b2531b61f92c5a041) changed the way RPCs identify a specific version of an object for modification. The fs code needs to be updated to match.
