Cannot cut text from app #29

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In search box, type some text
2. Try to cut it..

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Able to cut text. Doesn't happen. True, cutting text is useful only in the
search box. Works in Preview and is useful as quick way to clear text box. :)

thanks btw, for the other bug fixes!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

1.3.1 on 10.5.3
