Can you please say how this plugin compares to softmoth/zsh-vim-mode?

Why did you create this plugin given a similar one already existed?

Which features are added/missing in this plugin? What about meta-features like quality, speed, etc?

[Not following the template as this is a meta-issue, bit I did read the README]

As my personal experience after using both of these plugins for couple of days. I think the plugin here is better than softmoth's one. softmoth's vi mode plugin is a bit laggy on my machine. But jeffreytse's one work smoothly out of the box, even when running in termux on my Android phone.
