Description The issue is that when I've chosen a wallpaper directory and hit change wallpaper automatically and then change the wallpaper my backgrounds are all black.

OS and Shell Information Please provide your OS name and version, GNOME Shell version, and the session type (X11/Wayland).

Steps to Reproduce Please provide the steps to reproduce the bug you are encountering.

  1. Go to "top button to open menu".
  2. Click on "Preferences".
  3. Click on "Change Wallpaper Directory Path".
  4. Click on "Change Wallpaper Automatically".
  5. Click on "top button to open menu".
  6. Click on "Next Wallpaper".
  7. See error. I can heard sound but can't see anything besides black

Expected Behavior I expected the audio and video to be shown in my backgrounds.

Actual Behavior I can hear audio but not video

Additional Information

Edit 1: So I booted up my computer today and it seems to be working now. I did restart before a few times as well but nothing changed. I was just kind changing different settings yesterday like I enabled: Experimental VA plugin since I have AMD and I'm using wayland.

And I think I turned on debug mode for a bit. I wish I knew more about why it was fixed so that I can share it on this issue but I'm not entirely sure. I did change the Fit Mode so maybe that has something to do with it.

Unfortunately, I think that means I likely won't be able to replicate the issue again

Played around with a few settings. Yesterday I restarted a lot. But today starting up my computer I see it's working correctly. I played around with a few preferences settings yesterday that may have somehow fixed the issue?
