0.8 Follow up / Client adjustments #181

The first phase in 0.8 was to get the server and console runners cleaned up and enhanced.

This phase is about getting the client code cleaned up a bit, and to resolve some of the issues that have become apparent.

It will also try to address how reporters are structured and created -- based on what's needed for Jasmine 2.
