Resolve relative URLs in the feed.xml file #350

Closed gerardbm closed 2 years ago

gerardbm commented 2 years ago

I use relative URLs in my site, for links and images. However, if I add the feed.xml file to Feedburner, this is not able to resolve the relative URLs. For example, if the link is /interesting-post/, the link on Feedburner will be feedburner.com/interesting-post/ instead of mysite.com/interesting-post/.

Is there a way to solve this? Perhaps and option could be implemented in this plugin.

Are you asking the feed plugin to rewrite your content such that links are migrated from relative to absolute?

gerardbm commented 2 years ago

Yes, but as an option. Being the default setup the current behavior to keep the backwards compatibility.
