url parameter doesn't seem to have any effect on GitHub Pages #225

If a page hosted on GitHub Pages is configured to "enforce https", the sitemap should also use https everywhere.

The documented method (setting url: "https://thesite.example.org") seems to have no effect on GitHub Pages.

Jekyll website is hosted on GitHub Pages and is configured with enforce HTTPS. Sitemap is fine: https://jekyllrb.com/sitemap.xml

Weird. Any idea what might cause the 'url' parameter to not get picked up?

LuisHCK commented 6 years ago

Same here. Locally generate the .xml but in production, nothing.
