Homepage being excluded in search results #239

Hi there,

I am having this issue on two repositories. Firstly, here is the sitemap file: https://github.com/GiacomoLaw/blog/blob/master/_site/sitemap.xml

It is similar on my other project.

How can I solve this?

Sometimes Google takes a while to index crawled pages. Seeing that this issue is 6 days old, it should be indexed. If it's not, your best guess would be contact Google and ask for a solution because it seems that this is on their end and not the sitemap's fault.
