Hard to find screenshots and/or demo installations? #354

Hi!

I found (outdated?) screenhots of limited use at #238 and a live installation at https://www.systemli.org/ in https://github.com/jelhan/croodle/issues/238#issuecomment-537056851 but that was not easy to find. A picture in the readme and a link to a demo installation would be nice. What do you think?

Best, Sebastian

Thanks for the feedback. Do you think #356 would serve that needs? Or do you think screenshots and a demo hosting of latest stable version should be provided as well?

Screenshots tend to get out of date if not updated regularly. I don't want to take care of all hosting related security questions that's why I don't provide an official hosting. A demo hosting - if not explicitly limited to testing purposes - could quickly become kind of an official hosting and is used with real data.

Hi Jeldrik, thanks for your reply!

I understand your concerns about misuse of a demo setup for regular use. I think a cron resetting the database and have a clearly visible note about that cron would reduce the risk of misuse.

For screenshots, I think one single nice image showing a common use case might be enough to to give an idea about the look and and the main scenario (or one of them) to expect. It would help users answer the "is this for me, is this worth my time and having a closer look" question.

What do you think?
