I'm not entirely sure what it is you want to be able to do here - within Activo tabs are a way of moving from one page to another, rather then dynamic tabs on a single page. If you want to use them in that way then you'll need to write your own javascript to switch between tabs without a reload, since it's not really within the scope of what Activo rails is designed for.
