Could you expand on this? I just tested on my OnePlus6T and I can control the volume of a movie with the volume buttons.
I think the plan will be to hide Jellyfin volume on mobile, at least for the web players.

Sorry for the lack of clarity of my original post.
I'd like to remotely control the volume using my device's volume buttons when playing a movie on a remote device (i.e. web player).
Another way of saying this is that I would like the device's volume buttons to control the on-screen volume slider that is visible when playing something remotely.

Whould be better if it's an option in settings to hide and not hard coded. I have few android tablets around the house on wall were the physical volume buttons are not exposed and the notifications from system are also disabled (it a intercome system that hides all system settings) so whoukd be beneficial to have option of volume control from witinin the app itself, Maybe gestures can be implemented as a way of controlling volume without using actual screen space for it, Emby said to have such an option in future
@yabuts I thought that still worked? Try dragging up and down on the left side of the screen when something is playing, full screen, landscape.
Controlling playback volume with the device's volume buttons would be very useful.
