the Roku app is critical for me as it's my opinion that the easiest way to get Emby/Plex/Jellyfin on a TV is via a Roku cost wise and ease of use/maintenance wise. I believe Roku has retired brightscript in favor of Scenegraph?
I'm not positive but I believe the old code apps will no longer work after the first of the year? Either way hopefully someone will be able to get this up to speed.
I'm working on this as we speak... Technically, BS still exists along side SG but there is a lot of Depreciated BS SDK Code. You are correct, apps using this Depreciated Code will not be accepted into the Channel Store.
With the latest Emby-Roku update breaking the use of it with Jellyfin Server, I am trying to put some more time into a Total Rewrite that will work with Jelly... I hope to have some code to share soon.
I will hopefully be picking this up as well soon!
@nZambi- was wondering if there were any good documentation on developing apps for the roku.
Oh My! Jellyfin-Roku is riddled with Depreciated SDK Code. This will block acceptance into the Roku Channel Store. I'm starting to see why Plex chose a complete rewrite of their Roku app when faced with the sunsetting of this SDK.
