music streaming from my home jellyfin server on the official jellyfin android client is unusable when I am on mobile data (always talking about at least 4G). The thing is, I have no problems whatsoever under the same circumstances when using Finamp.
Jellyfin official android client starts streaming and at random points pauses (with the rotating blue circle dispaying) for seconds up to minutes(!) at a time before resuming normally.
I would search for a setting or a problem in my network or server installation if it wasn't for the fact that when using finamp there are no problems.
Also the jellyfin client does not exhibit these problems when connected through wifi (from any place home or away).
Jellyfin server is on debian 12 using caddy reverse proxy (https for outside connection, no https set up in jellyfin's settings).
