"Media cannot play on this device" when playing a downgraded stream to fit bandwidth restriction using an external player #1447

Describe the bug

  1. Set the bandwidth restriction to external networks on the Jellyfin server to 20mpbs
  2. Disconnect the WiFi or make sure you are not on the same network as the Jellyfin server to have the restriction apply to you
  3. Configure the Jellyfin android application to use an external player
  4. Try to play a media that would be downgraded to fit the restricted bandwidth
  5. The error "Media cannot play on this device" is shown

The media is playing "as normal" on the Jellyfin server as shown in the dashboard image

It works fine when using the integrated player.
