Currently, Jellyfin client settings only has data rate limits for 'home' and 'internet'. I would like a separate limit for metered networks such as my mobile data plan, so that i can avoid excessive data use caused by e.g. streaming FLAC over mobile data, but can still have full quality at, say, a friend's house with good wifi.
These new limits should be settable independently for video and audio streams.
Note that I say metered networks specifically, as Android allows marking Wifi networks as metered (and can do so automatically if the router flags it as such) and Jellyfin should respect that setting and apply these limits to those networks as well as to mobile data.
Just setup my Jellyfin server and both official app and Finamp is lacking this feature. It's interesting how such an important feature is not implemented yet.
