I use jellyfin on my tv to view photos. Often times I come across photos taken in portrait and jellyfin shows them in full which means the photo is quite small in the middle with black space on both left and right. A zoom function in the photo viewer would be nice in this situation.
I think it would be intuitive to map doubling clicking the "select/OK" button on the TV remote to activate zoom mode. Once in zoom mode, we can use the d pad to scroll to different directions on the zoomed in photo. We can also provide multiple levels of zoom and cycle through them by subsequent double clicking the "select/OK" button. And after the max zoom level, it exits the zoom mode.
