surround sound doesn't work on fire cube #3514

Describe the bug

  1. have multichannel receiver with info display
  2. when playing movie with fire cube, passthrough isn't accomplished, stays on two channel

when I attempt to play to a movie with surround sound on fire cube (2nd gen), it does no passthrough.

(Receiver is saying 2.0 channel Dolby digital plus)
