Multi users sync doesn't work properly

Hi all,

I have one jellyfin server configured and working with three users defined. User one is the admin one with full access to the server. Users 2 and 3 are dedicated for kids with access to media rated below 7 years.

The clients are rPi3 with libreelec and kodi jellyfin addon, in native mode to play without transcoding. Three clients are configured in the same way except for the user.

The one with the admin user auto syncs the library properly, pulling the changes detected on the server.

The clients for kids doesn't sync the changes automatically and also doesn't sync at kodi starting. The only way to sync the library is to manually launch the library update from the addon.

Is there any configuration in the user account that can affect the auto library sync?

I also have problems with the Kodi Sync Queue not syncing new library content. I also have multiple users on Kodi.

Shows and movies appear to sync resume and watched information, but new content from the Jellyfin server does not appear on Kodi unless a library Update is done.

Running Jellyfin server 10.7.7 and Libreelec 9.2.

Multi-user Kodi setup is not something we are (currently) testing, and is known to have caused issues in the past. The addon currently assumes there is only one user, and I do not know how Kodi does the multi-user black magic.

Hi @oddstr13. In my case, each client device has only one user, so I don't need any multi-user magic. From the server point of view, there are three clients, each one with only one user. The admin user is used in three devices (kodi and Android), and the syncronization works properly in all of them. The other users are kodi clients, each one in a rpi device, and they do not syncronize.

I Have 2 user on my libreelec/coreelec and it's working most of the time, sometimes sync doesn't get all update, I reboot the pi/box almost everytime I change the user
