Seeking with ExoPlayer fails on Android TV #587

Describe the bug I am unable to seek using ExoPlayer on Android TV. When I try, the picture freezes and I get a player error after a while. Then it automatically tried and same error happens. This continues.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start playing a video.
  2. Seek inside or outside the buffer.
  3. Player never results playing but shows and error instead. The error is not shown long enough for me to write it down, but there gist is that an error occurred in the player.

Expected behavior I expected the player to sell and continue playback from were I asked it to.

Additional context I switched the player to libVLC which is experimental, but seeking works with libVLC.

I believe this is the wrong repo to post this issue. This is for Jellyfin Media Player, the desktop client. The Android TV client has its own repo. https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv
