[Request] Documentation on folder name structure so plugin can retrieve AniDB ID from folder name #22

Hello

First off, thanks for the great work. It helps to have plugins dedicated for retrieving anime metadata.

One thing I've noticed is that the documentation does not mention how to add the AniDB ID to the name the folder in a way that the plugin can pick it up automatically.

This feature is already provided by Jellyfin for movies and TV shows

It would be great if you could add that as part of the documentation.

Does this work with the Jellyfin AniDB Plugin? I had some folders with [anidb-NUMBER] from Plex and Jellyfin wouldn't pick them up. Is it anidbid or is it not implemented?

Edit: I tested it and it works using anidbid. I think you can deduce it from the text in the documentation. It would be nice if it worked with anidb too, so you don't have to rename your folders coming from Plex with HAMA and ASS.

^ I absolutely second the above. I already have my folders named with [anidb-xxxx] for hundreds of shows (I am working on migrating from plex), and was very surprised and disappointed to find that I needed to either manually identify everything or rename everything.

I also can't figure out how to get romaji titles, but that's an issue to tackle after getting things matched.
