1 year ago I see over here that it's part of the Android TV app's big playback rewrite roadmap. I hope that means it'll also be technically possible to implement this on Roku. I'd love to see this feature land.

Would love to see Roku have the Sync-play functionality!
A lot of my friends have Roku and like watching together (last night used airplay to cast from the Jellyfin app on their phone), but would probably work better if it was integrated with Roku itself!
