Don't remember if I ever got 116
error. Usually 118
.
Someone said that this means "There is no space on device".
118
means (I believe) "Certificate error".
thank you for your answer, I fought all night, I reset the tv 8 times, and I managed to install it even with the mistake ^^ don't ask me how come?
Not against I have another problem, I don't know if it's the TV the problem or the app, in fact when you want to select a movie or series or other from right to left or top to bottom, the cursor moves from 2 in 2 instead of 1 in 1, like if you take the first movie and I want to go to the second I actually go straight to the third.
I don't know if you've had this problem, I can make you a video if you need it.
"Input doubling" is known issue.
For master branch of jellyfin-web
you could remove lines as said in https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-tizen/issues/4#issuecomment-602015405
For stable branch, there is no need to do this.

I noticed however in the stable branch 10.5.3, during playback when you bring out the subtitle offset, there's no way to focus on the offset slider. When you press the up button few times, it would skip from playback button to scrubber then to the subtitle offset close "X" bypassing the offset slider. This doesn't occur in the master branch.

yes '116' error is no space on device.. how to make space on the device? Because all the apps installed are the default ones... it is not possible to uninstall them... Do you have a solution? Is it possible to remove them in SDb connection ?
The solution I think is to disable internet to avoid that the basic apps install, I tried already it goes a little further here are the errors:
app_id[wgt] install start
was_install_app return WAS_TRUE
app_id [wgt] installing [7]
app_id [wgt] installing [10]
app_id [wgt] installing [13]
app_id [wgt] installing [15]
app_id [wgt] installing [18]
app_id [wgt] installing [21]
app_id [wgt] installing [23]
app_id [wgt] install failed [118012]
spend time for wascmd is [10212]ms
Free space is displayed in settings of Apps
screen, iirc
On my TV, it was too many "default" apps - ~70MB/700MB
But this is enough for Jellyfin.
I found some https://developer.youi.tv/5.7/Content/Tizen_DevTopics/H1BuildingInstallingAppWidgets.htm it is strange that there is no such info somewhere on Samsung site
118012 | Application already installed with the same ID, uninstall the existing application first. This device may not support Tizen certificate signed widget files; try re-signing your widget using a Samsung certificate. If another Samsung certificate has been pushed to this device, you may need to re-push the certificate to the device. |
---|
Which certificate (Tizen/Samsung) do you use? Need Samsung with your TV DUID in it.
Did you Permit to install applications
on your TV from Device Manager?
I use the samsung certificate, I even had to create a samsung account to be able to sign the app... well on the other hand I made several certificates but I rebuild each time so logically it should work... I do not understand, I managed to install it the other night but as there was the bug of the remote so I uninstall it, but even I reboot the TV every time I want to install the app... Yes I do the permission and the certificate upload every time but it works well on the emulator but as soon as I want to put it on the TV, it always has an error...
From my experience, there is no need to uninstall app if you update it - all done automatically. Maybe in some extreme cases.
When you Permit to install applications
on your TV, you should receive this message in case of a good certificate.
Make sure you build WGT with this certificate.
This is probably off-topic, but does anyone know how to free space used by a failed upload?
Mine failed but still used ~30mb of precious TV storage space and I'm afraid to try uploading again because idk if that uses up even more.
in fact the problem doesn't come from the compilation, it comes from the tv I tried to install like Spotify which is 15mo, and there is no free space for installation, the problem is that you can't uninstall the basic apps, but I have the impression that it's a bug because before I had spotify installed, it seems that the memory at reset doesn't erase anymore, it puts the tv back in reinis.
edit
I found a solution, I put a usb key and I was able to install spotify, but how to install the command line app is it possible to give it a path to the usb key storage? Thanks

Glad to hear that.
sdb shell "0 rmfile any_string"
tbh, very suspicious command.

yes suspicious but functional, I had 0 free space, I made the order and I went to 180 mo of free space, I could make the installation without any problem!
Many thanks.
@dmitrylyzo Hi. I not understand how applied certificates with build WGT. It's find certificates from profile right? It's not worked for me.
It's builded fine:
alex@alex:~/jellyfin/jellyfin-tizen$ /home/alex/tizen-studio/tools/ide/bin/tizen package -t wgt -o . -- .buildResult The active profile is used for signing. If you want to sign with other profile, please use '--sign' option.

Ignore File: /home/alex/jellyfin/jellyfin-tizen/.buildResult/.manifest.tmp

But not worked on Emulator. Why?

Can somebody help me?
just to mention that I have had issues with this same fault message app_id[wgt] download failed[116] on a UE32N5300
I tried sdb shell "0 rmfile any_string"
unfortunately without success, the preinstalled defualt apps were taking up too much space.
I eventually worked out how to delete the default unwanted apps with
~/tizen-studio/tools/sdb shell 0 vd_appuninstall 3201807016597
replace the numbers with your app id found by right clicking your tv in device manager.
This freed enough space to install jellyfin with no further problems.
Good morning, sir, I managed to compile the app but I couldn't install it on the TV... It runs under tizen 4.0 according to the information of the Device manager at the time of connection.
only here are the errors at the time of installation...

if you can tell me more... I'm also looking on my side on the forums ...
EDIT 1 Test emulator 3.0 - 4 - 5.5 app install ok
