tv without truehd support, no sound #181

Hi, I have jellyfin-tizen with the latest commit.

When I play a media which have only a TrueHD Atmos 7.1 audio on a 43tu8005 there is no sound at all. All the server transcoding is turned off. Should I except the client/tv to transcode the TrueHD to a format handled by the tv, apparently the tv handle only Dolby Digital Plus format and thoses: image Thanks for the help.

All the server transcoding is turned off.

☝️ Enable audio transcoding. The app can't pass-through audio.

It fix the issue, but it is not possible to delegate all the transcoding part to the client ? Could the server be able to transfer the whole file to the client, and the client transcoding for himself ?

No. This is the whole point of having server transcoding.
