Cannot play any media #230

Compiled the latest version from master 2023.11.21., and installed on my Samsung UE65MU6100. App installed fine, login was also ok. But anytime I click play on any media, film, series, music, it does not start playing, at films the cover art is displayed forever, at music starts and stays at 0:00 forever.

Server with Docker: Version: 10.8.12 Operating System: Linux Architecture: X64

Which branch of jellyfin-web did you use?

Latest master.

I tested master on webOS 1.2 (~Tizen 2.3) a while ago. But there were a lot of dependency updates, so it might break again on older devices.

Could you try release-10.8.z branch?

Hi, I'm having the same issue with a Samsung AU9080 50.

I managed to forcing into playing by stopping and resuming from the control panel on a browser.

I build the package from release-10.8.z branch

Same issue here.

Mashing the play button eventually seems to Kickstart media into playing. After which, media plays as expected until the app is restarted.
