Identify -> Search Results -> Back closes Identify window #2601

Steps to reproduce:

Identify window is closed which is confusing. I would expect it returned me to the previous search screen.

Still not resolved in latest stable. Any progress?

I don't think anyone has looked into this yet... it's kind of a fundamental issue with how modal windows work in the web app.

Thanks for the answer. I expected as much, but my main purpose was to bump the topic, since bot wanted to close it in 31 days.
