Rework the admin dashboard menu #981

I'd like to propose a reordering/renaming of the options in the Admin Dashboard.

Here is what I have in mind.

Dashboard

Server

Media

Other

The main goal is to simplify the structure and have the layout make more sense.

I think Transcoding should be pulled out of Playback and added to the Server section. As is, Playback makes no sense being in media (and maybe we should rename playback)

DVR can be made a subpanel under the Live TV page.

Can logs be under server? People constantly can't seem to locate them and pushing them to the bottom is only going to exasperate the situation.

For installed plugins that create a new option (like Playback Reporting) should we make a whole new section called Plug-in options or something to that effect

My original plan was moving the dashboard to it's own page entirely (along with the activity page) and adding a lot more features.

I think some more reorganization is needed here, with sub-pages and all.

I want to eventually have a different layout on mobile and desktop because the mobile way right now is clunky. On that layout, it should be a menu like the Settings menu, which leads to pages with eventual sub-options, and not have a drawer.

For desktop, I'd like to allow the main drawer to be sticky and re-use the same drawer code for both parts, and eventually get rid of tabs in the Administration section.

How big of a scope of work do we want to cover with this? I could breakdown details on each subpage that could use minor tweaks for improvement.

I'd advocate for a complete rework, but it'd be likely done over a long period of time.

A breakdown of pages with sub-pages and infos on what could be moved where would be useful in the long term anyway.

It'd probably be good to have a "Show advanced settings" toggle at some point, as well.

I was actually advocating to remove the advanced toggle from the library settings a while ago.

That'd be nice since which options are behind the toggle doesn't make much sense.
