Images loading problem #120

Hi I have a bunch of images from my camera (each aprox 10 mv) and when I try to play it in my tv it's downloading really slowly like 20 sec for one image when I use DLNA or on my phone its loading blazingly fast, but on tv it's a bit slow maybe it's connected to tv's browser?

It can be. The loading of it in the app would probably be trying to pull it in at full quality, which can be tough depending on the TV's specs (which aren't published for the browser/app side of things).

Phones would handle it easily, and DLNA optimizes for picture display, so that would also work better.

Offhand, I'm not sure how we can improve this.

Same here on a rather new LGTV. Maybe better caching could improve this? The first picture takes a bit to load, and also if you skip through the images faster. Animation is a bit jerky sometimes, but that is only a very minor thing (though I wouldn't really need animation and it would be great if you could turn it off).
