I understand that due to LG's limitation playing back Dolby Vision tracks is only feasible from mp4 containers, not mkv. When trying to figure out a workflow for converting my DV media, I observed that when I keep all audio tracks from the mkv then playing back the file with jellyfin will only enable DV when selecting the first audio track, on every other it will fall back to the HDR10 fallback mode. The same file plays back correctly as DV with any audio track in LG's built-in player.
