Hi, it seems like your issue report has the following item(s) that need to be addressed:
This is an automated message, currently under testing. Please file an issue here if you encounter any problems.
Try disabling "Prefer fMP4-HLS Media Container" in Settings / Playback on your tv. It is known to cause problems on webOS.
I am also having the same issue!
I am having the same issue too. Movies that was previously fine on 10.8 simply does work on 10.9. It either just shows green image and then crash(lg saying to clear memory, memory usage too high). It seem to fine playin 1080p animes. But anything 4K and dolby vision/HDR immedietly crash or crash after some time or can't forward the movie at all freezing and crashing.
I have test 10.9.10 yesterday issue is still the same. Configuration haven't changed at all from 10.8, no new plugin installed either.
@erbold-bu did you try the suggested workaround by @854562 ? The thumbs up seem to indicate so, but it would be nice with a written confirmation.
Hi, I have the same problem. The suggested workaround don't work for me. @oddstr13

Please create a new issue then, and provide all details.
It looks like the mentioned workaround works for everyone else in this thread, which means you've likely got a different issue with similar symptoms.

Please describe your bug
I am current only able to watch a movie from the start. For example, today I am trying to watch American Beauty from 1hr 20 minutes into the movie; when I watch the screen will remain black for about 5 minute then crash with this error: "The app will restart to free up more memory".
It isn't a memory issue. I"ve watched while it's transcoding with htop and only the CPU is getting slammed. This is installed on a 6 core 2070 super 16 gb memory gaming laptop so it has ample power.
