The following changes will be implemented in the next version:

implementing GuzzleHttp to handle the API requests
optimization and refactorization of the current project structure
maintaining backwards compatibility

Hello. I created a small library, based on Guzzle, to consume Bitly API. You can see it here: https://github.com/hpatoio/bitly-api

I've also created a Bundle to integrate it on Symfony2: https://github.com/hpatoio/BitlyBundle

I was about to create a Laravel bundle to integrate it when I've found yours. Do you think is possible to integrate my library ? I don't know much about Laravel. Let me know.
