can you access YouTube
?
it looks like it cannot reach YouTube. maybe YouTube is blocked in your country.
if that's the case, you need to either use a VPN or setup a proxy and set this proxy in the settings.
Running MacOS 13 (Ventura) I'm getting the same error with different videos - all which can be viewed from a browser. Using a different machine on the same network, running an older MacOS version, it works as intended. T1shark who opened this issue, is running Windows so I'm not sure the OS version is relevant, but wanted to include it.
Just upgraded to Ventura, getting the same error on all videos.
Now it's suddenly working, i did some upgrades unrelated to this. Updated brew and brew packages, then installed xcode command line tools. Hope that can help someone.
That did it! It still wasn't working after updating and upgrading Brew, but it started working after updating xcode command line tools. Thanks!
@hangman1998 My VPN proxy can use a browser to access YouTube, but cannot use cmd to ping YouTube. I don't know if it is the VPN proxy.
Just upgraded to Ventura, getting the same error on all videos.
Can you ping YouTube with cmd?
I have the same problem, how can i solve this? I'm using the latest Windows 11 version 22H2.
From the error there's something wrong with yt-dpl. I don't know.
Ok, found the solution, download the last version here:

Same issue here. Pretty sure I am connected to Youtube since I am listening to the song, and even opened up a new song on Youtube while trying to download, and I also get the execa unhandled error! I'm on Fedora (Just moved to it last night). I have youtubedlgui as an appimage. Edit1: Seems the new youtube-dl-gui that @gitfirewall posted actually works, but I had to download python pip and use pip to install mutagen to get things to work!
