Crashes when chrome opens #177

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open chrome
2. Wait a second
3. Soundflowerbed crashes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect Soundflowerbed to not crash and instead it does

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v1.6.6 on Mac OS X 10.8.2 on MacBook Pro 13" mid 2012 chrome version is 
23.0.1271.91
