Error! Your project doesn't exist in Scratch's server/ Server Error (500) #20

Hello,

I am trying to analyze several class projects using Dr. Scratch. I tried pasting the project URL, downloading the project and uploading it into the system and converting the sb3 file to sb2 format using Python and then uploading it into the Dr. Scratch system. None has worked. For example, when I paste the following link in Dr. Scratch,

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/484803855 https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/866919344 https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/689787715

I get the message,

"Error! Your project doesn't exist in Scratch's servers."

However, I have double checked and found the project to be present and shared on Scratch.

When I uploaded the same project (tried both sb2 and sb3 files), I get a Server Error (500) message.

I also got the Forbidden (403) error for a few projects.

I have tried at least 10 projects from different semester years (2020-2023), all resulting in one of these error messages.

Could you provide a solution? Are current Scratch projects incompatible with the current version of Dr. Scratch? Am I doing something wrong at my end?

Thank You!

Hi, at this point the on-line Dr.Scratch tool is outdated and does not work properly, as you have seen.

We are working on a new version which we hope to have on-line soon.

Hi! We are willing to hold a contest in the next 5 days using Dr Scratch to evaluate kid's projects.

We were planning to use Dr Scratch to evaluate the kid's submissions.

Is there an updated repository so we could use this wonderful project?

The new version is developed here: https://github.com/cdchushig/drscratchv3

If you send us the files, we could run it in batch mode, although I cannot promise it works as we haven't tried that part.

Hello- Sorry to bother you again with this, but are there any updates on when the new version of Dr. Scratch could come online?

Hi, If you send me an email to grex at gsyc.urjc.es with your email address, I will write you when the new version is on-line.
