Hello @NotMyFault , do you mind raising a discussion with the Documentation SIG and/or the developer mailing list?
Rationale is that the infra team is not maintaining the javadoc but only providing a webserver to publish it, and we don't have the knowledge/skill to manage the maven site stuff behind it.

Thanks for the pointer. I created https://community.jenkins.io/t/idea-hosted-javadocs-for-lts-versions-of-jenkins/3059, the doc sig mailing list is going to be read-only very soon in favor of the forums

Summary
https://javadoc.jenkins.io/ hosts javadocs for the latest weekly version only. I would like to see hosted Javadocs for LTS versions in general (there are currently none in https://javadoc.jenkins.io/archive/) and for the current LTS version supported.
That'll definitely make it easier for people using LTS versions of Jenkins to find the correct Javadocs to use.
