Hey, please use the issue to note TODOs you want to address, rather than commenting on commits :) I'll make a start:

Remove .vscode and the target folder by excluding them through the gitignore file. These types are not meant to be pushed.
Remove .DS_Store files, same like above.

Thank you for pointing these out. I've addressed the issues in the latest merge: Update .gitignore and remove ignored files
