Keys on Tags can only include AlphaNumerics #6

Is there any reason why Tags on the cloudformation must be alphanumeric according to https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-properties-resource-tags.html "You can use any of the following characters: the set of Unicode letters, digits, whitespace, _, ., /, =, +, and -." This has forced tags included using the Jenkins Pipeline to not conform with our tagging used for overall reporting.

Hi. My organization also has a standard for tagging and this is causing us some rework.
