Configure Azure VM Agent template

Select launch method: JNLP
Run a pipeline

Expected Results

VM is provisioned and agent is connected to the Jenkins controller

Actual Results

VM is provisioned, but agent is not connected: This agent is offline because Jenkins failed to launch the agent process on it. I can't find any logs explaining the reason of the failure.

Anything else?

I can connect to the provisioned VM via Remote Desktop.

I see traces of the initialization script (the script that installs java runtime), but the PATH is not updated and the runtime is not installed. Looks like the initialization script failed.
If I manually install java runtime, download the agent.jar and launch it, the agent successfully connects to the Jenkins controller.
