Describe your use-case which is not covered by existing documentation.

The README.md indicates that only AppRole authentication is available and that others are not supported yet which is not true especially as below that there are instructions to configure other types of backend.

Reference any relevant documentation, other materials or issues/pull requests that can be used for inspiration.
