Saved paths are not saved in file browser plugin #76

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What Plugin does this relate to? What version of the Plugin?
FileBrowser 1.0
editra 0.3.90
winxp

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Save a path in file browser (path shows up in 'jump to' and 'remove' lists)
2. Close editra
3. re-open, saved path is no longer there

Hmm,

Thats odd, since I haven't changed anything in the FileBrowser code.

It could be from the move of the Configuration directory.

Did you notice any issues when running the current svn (0.4) for the first
time?

I am still working on testing the profile migration code, since all
configuration
data on Windows and OSX have moved to more platform standard locations for 0.4.

Nothing odd at all. Although, I did notice that there was no 'your settings
have been
updated to the latest version' messagebox, the one that usually appears with a
major
(minor) update. I noticed because I was expecting it given that relatively major
changes were made to how settings are handled (config dir etc).

The other thing I noticed is that for a short while (~0.39), if I did an 'open
with'
from within a file browser, editra wouldn't open the file if there was an
instance of
Editra already open (it would open the file fine when there was no Editra
instance
already open). Now with 0.4, this seems to be working again.
