I've been thinking about potatoes. A lot. I've also eaten some as research for this issue. My findings are three-fold:
Potatoes are extremely tasty when paired with various other foods.
They are a delightful sight; a treat for the eyes. However, it as all too often that they can become dull when surrounded by too many of their kind.
Potatoes can be extremely exciting if seen in the wrong context.
These findings have led me to believe that the 'potatoes' in dawn are not a problem, it is simply the fact that there are too many of them.
We already have them inheriting shape. We also have a great mutator class made by an extremely good full-stack developer which is definitely NOT a glorified number generator and actually an incredibly complex algorithm based on maths. What is maths, I hear you say? We just don't know.
I would like to propose that we make it so there is a very slight chance of creating a completely random shape upon breeding. Thus, we stem the flow of powerful, gushing potatoes that has been overwhelming us for so very long.
