Is it possible to add proxy server support when sending or receiving emails?

I'm not sure, but i think YAM already features using a proxy server...albeit i don't know if it also covers send/receive mails...it does cover sharing photos and checking for updates of YAM...

It's in Configuration/AddressBook

-If* it can be used for sending/receiving than i think it would be better to move that option to the TCP/IP Settings page

Yes, there is an option for using a proxy server but only for sharing photos and checking for updates for YAM as you said. Although even that, it doesn't have options for username or password.

The proxy is used for http downloads only. As far as I know it is not possible to use a proxy for POP3 download or SMTP upload.
