Tizen 8 certificate error #55

Hey, my TV updated today to Tizen 8.0 and wiped out my JF install. Now when trying to install it using the usual method of cli it's just throwing a certificate error. Any idea how to fix it?

That's unfortunately a side effect of new Tizen firmware being more strict and not allowing generic developer certificates anymore. The only way to get it to work is to make a certificate specifically for your TV in the Tizen Studio Certificate Manager. Can verify that creating your own certificate and running commands to re-sign .wgt package before installation works!

Is there some kind of publisher certificate for trusted app makers?

Thank you guys, that helped and I managed to get it installed. I hope we one day get it on the Samsung app store lol
