Is tests in jepsen 0.1.* including bank, long-fork, adya, etc. valid in jepsen 0.2.*? #536

I noticed that jepsen version 2.0 introduced pure function generator. Do the previous tests have to be adapted to the new version, or do I have to use the old version to complete the previous tests?
